What is Health? This site seeks to address that question

Health is an overriding concern of any individual, especially in this modern stressful life when everyone from young to old is afflicted by something or the other and more frequently these days. All they can do is “pop a pill for every ill” and hope that they can get by. While these medications give temporary relief in the form of “suppressing” the symptoms, the underlying problems continue to fester and grow until at a later time, they come back with more virulence and attack the body. People also tend to equate health with “absence of disease” whereas the real yardstick of measuring health is in an overall sense of well-being.

Healing is a natural process common to all life. Wounds heal by themselves in people just as in animals and plants. If we want to foster healing and promote health, we should pay attention to the ways of nature and learn to encourage the body’s own intelligence to heal itself. The body is the best doctor. This is the basic principle of “natural healing” and this is the gateway to wellness. But how do we stimulate and help the body’s own innate mechanism of self-repair? There are several non-invasive drugless systems that help this life-force energy or Prana (Ki in Japanese and Chi in Chinese) that sustains life in every being.

Doctorji, does the actual word prana figure in the drugless systems of healing or do we equate their terminology to prana.
